When it comes to everyday life, Granger House makes it easy with Rest Home, Hospital, and Respite Care. The well-appointed rooms all look out onto sheltered courtyards or landscaped gardens and come complete with a nurse call system and WiFi.

Part of the close-knit West Coast town of Greymouth, Granger House is set amongst beautifully landscaped gardens, just a short drive from the town centre.

We offer everything from hairdressing to speech therapy, physiotherapy, and podiatry. We have a range of recreational activities including board games, happy hour, gardening, crafts, cooking and indoor bowls. Our Care Home van is also always on hand for outings.

Levels of care

Rest Home Care

If you or a loved one have a medical condition or are less able to lead an independent life, our Rest Home living offers dedicated 24/7 care from our team of registered nurses and trained carers.

Hospital Care

If you or a loved one suffer from significant disabilities or medical conditions, particularly where the loss of cognitive abilities is a recognised factor, our Hospital Care could be just what you’re looking for.

Respite Care

Heritage Lifecare Respite services provide carers with a much needed short-term break. It is different from our Day Programme service as it allows guests to stay under our care for more than a day and up to a couple of weeks.

Living & Care Options

We have a range of services and activities at Granger House Lifecare, suitable for residents at all different stages. Our trained staff are always there to help and encourage residents and make sure they feel safe and comfortable. Also ensuring there are suitable health and wellbeing services available for residents at our Care Home.
