When it comes to everyday life, Rosewood makes it easy with Hospital, Day Programme, Respite, Dementia, Specialised Hospital and Palliative Care. The well-appointed rooms are set in the leafy suburb of Linwood, Christchurch and come complete with a nurse call system and WiFi.

Part of the beautiful riverside City of Christchurch, Rosewood is a short drive from the city centre, where you’ll find all the essentials, including pharmacies, galleries, library and museums.

We offer everything from physiotherapy to podiatry, SKY TV and hairdressing. We have a range of recreational activities including board games, bingo, arts and crafts and RSA visits. Our Care Home van is also always on hand for outings.

Levels of care

Hospital Care

If you or a loved one suffer from significant disabilities or medical conditions, particularly where the loss of cognitive abilities is a recognised factor, our Hospital Care could be just what you’re looking for.

Day Programme

If you or your loved one would enjoy some company and activities now and again, many of our Rest Homes invite locals who may be considering a Rest Home to come and enjoy our Day Programme.

Respite Care

Heritage Lifecare Respite services provide carers with a much needed short-term break. It is different from our Day Programme service as it allows guests to stay under our care for more than a day and up to a couple of weeks.

Dementia Care

If you’re looking for Dementia Care, our focus is to alleviate any stress and uncertainty from the moment you and your loved one steps in our door.

Palliative Care

When the time comes that Palliative Care is required, you can be rest assured that Heritage Lifecare will go above and beyond to provide the caring and sympathetic Palliative Care needed by people who are reaching the end of their lives.

Living & Care Options

We have a range of services and activities at Rosewood Lifecare, suitable for residents at all different stages. Our trained staff are always there to help and encourage residents and make sure they feel safe and comfortable. Also ensuring there are suitable health and wellbeing services available for residents at our Care Home.
