Puriri Court residents lined up for an afternoon of ten-pin bowling, taking turns to test their aim and see how many pins they could send tumbling.
The game soon brought out some friendly competition, with plenty of laughter and encouragement shared between turns. Each new attempt offered another chance to improve the score and move into the lead.
