Betty and Lynn Attrill celebrated their 73rd wedding anniversary at Annie Brydon, having married on 13 June 1953.
Their milestone was recognised with letters from His Majesty the King and Prime Minister Christopher Luxon, along with a personal visit from Mayor Phil Nixon. It was quite a list of well-wishers for a very special couple.
