Independent Living

Retirement Homes

If you’re looking for a retirement home in the beautiful Hawkes Bay, Heritage Lifecare has two conveniently located in Hastings, Waiapu House Lifecare & Village and Colwyn House Lifecare.

Our Hastings retirement homes provide a full range of living and care options to suit your needs. We also provide hospital care, which includes more specialised care at Colwyn House Lifecare, such as psychogeriatric care, dementia care and palliative care. Waipu Lifecare and Village and St Lukes Close Village both offer palliative care, in a rest home environment.

Other services offered by our Hastings retirement homes include respite care and a day programme. Respite care provides a break for both our guest and their caregiver, we’ll look after our loved ones for a short-term stay of 1 night up to a couple of weeks.

Heritage Lifecare has two retirement communities in Hastings. We provide rest home care for older people who require dedicated care and retirement villages for those still able to live independently.

St Lukes Close Village is perfect for older people looking for the freedom of living in their own home combined with the friendly community of a retirement village.
